Inspired by the Hindustani raga "bageshri," I wrote this simple composition for violin, vocals, tabla, with a bit of shruti box in the background. This track has a greater focus on my vocal work. The tabla is performed by Josh Mellinger, and the "taal" or rhythm cycle is "ektaal," a 12 beat cycle.
